Good afternoon.

An arty theme for Year 6 today.

I would normally be doing lots of Art with Year 6 at this time of the school year, so the Blog today is dedicated to you Year 6. Have a go at home and we can share what you have done when we all get together again.

I have included a few examples, soft pastels or coloured pencils are the best medium for this form of art. Please explain to your children where it is appropriate to use this form of art and that it is not appropriate to use this form of art to vandalise property. At school we always have this conversation and look at the history of graffiti as an art form. This is a topic that the Year 6 children always enjoy.
