Parent Information Events

Reading Information Evening

Reading is such an important skill. Over the past few years, expectations have risen. As a result, the teaching of reading has changed to ensure that children develop the appropriate reading skills at the right age.  Parents are the most important educators in a child’s life. It is more important than ever before that parents promote reading for pleasure at home. Parents also need to ask children the right questions and provide the right prompts for children to support them and promote depth of learning. The presentation below provides information to support parents when reading at home with children. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to speak to Mrs Barry.

Assessment Information Evening

The presentation below outlines key aspects of our assessment policy and procedures which were shared with parents / carers in school in March 2016. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to speak to Mr Currie.
