Christian School Values

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

 Love is our central value underpinned by:

·        Honesty

·        Respect

·        Determination

·        Friendship

·        Responsibility

·        Loyalty

Our Christian Values, which are rooted in scripture, are threaded through our school, our decision making and everything that we do.

Love is at the heart of our Christian Values and all members of our school community aim to ‘live out’ our Christian Values in our actions and choices.

Our school uses a resource called ‘Values for Life’ as a basis for our Collective Worship. These Christian Values are shared with children on a regular basis and reinforced through our teaching. Most of these Values can be said to be ‘human Values’ and inclusive for people with different or diverse faiths, and also for those with no faith.

We have established seven Christian Values that are particularly important to members of our school family. Please click on the tabs below for more information about each of the Christian Values. Each page provides a small explanation about the Christian Value, and a linked Bible story or reference that illustrates the Christian Value well and is particularly memorable for the children.
